The primary concept of this application is to simplify the process for astrophotographers when selecting deep sky targets. It offers a catalog that can be filtered or utilizes an algorithm to determine the most suitable target for a particular night. Each target is assigned a visibility score, indicating the percentage of the night during which it can be observed, as well as a season score, which assesses its proximity to opposition from the sun. The algorithm effectively integrates these scores along with lunar data to generate a curated list of potential imaging targets. Users can select any date and location to receive relevant information.
